QR Code "Scanvenger Hunt"
Get your students excited about career exploration. The QR code "Scanvenger Hunt" uses Holland's Theory to explore the six different personality categories: Realistic, Enterprising, Social, Artistic, Conventional, and Investigative. Students work in groups to scan each QR code with a SMART device and research a job in each area. This ready-made PDF includes all the QR clues and a research sheet where students share what they learn about their assigned personality category. You can read more about my lesson using the "Scanvenger Hunt" here. Note: Requires a SMART device with the QR Code Scanner app (can be downloaded for free) to use.
Hi Angela,
ReplyDeleteIs your Beautiful Oops packet appropriate for 4th graders? Is there any way I can preview a portion of it before purchasing? Thank you for the information!
Shannon---I think it could totally work for 4th grade. The Beautiful Oops book is more of a simpler, picture book. However, the lesson plan and activities would work great with fourth graders. You can see lots of screenshots from my lesson and the work product in this post here: http://lifeontheflycounselor.blogspot.com/2014/03/dare-to-make-mistakes.html Also, a review of the Beautiful Oops book is found here: http://www.amazon.com/Beautiful-Oops-Barney-Saltzberg/dp/076115728X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412126850&sr=8-1&keywords=beautiful+oops
